I know this is a little late, but I really just can’t believe Amendment One passed…
I guess living in arguably the liberal capital of NC gave me a skewed view of the opinion of the state, but it just never really occurred to me that it would pass. It’s so upsetting, and so awkward to be around my parents right now, because I know they voted for it. I just don’t understand why people are in favor of this ridiculous thing.
